GUIDE: AQUARIUM TISSUE CULTURE

Here are some simple steps on how to properly plant and care for your aquatic plants.
Tools you might need:
  • Bowl of room temperature water
  • Scissors
  • Tweezer
6 SIMPLIFIED STEPS TO PLANT AQUATIC PLANTS
STEP 1: Open the container that plants are in.
STEP 2: remove the plants gently from the container. In one go if possible.
STEP 3: prepare bowl of room temperature tap water.

STEP 4: wash off the nutrient  gel/liquid gently and completely off the plants. plants can also be rinsed off and washed of in a small strainer.

STEP 5: Use hand or scissors to carefully divide plants in smaller portions.

STEP 6: use tweezers to push plants in substrate at least 1/4 to 1/2 inch.
    Tips: Bucephlandra and Anubias must be attached to rock or driftwood to avoid damage to roots.

    NOTE: plants are living organisms and they need to receive required nutrients, light, and CO2 to thrive.
