PRESERVE THE NATURE

The aquatic plant industry has been growing rapidly which requires a supply of plants on a large scale. The natural habitats of many of aquatic plant species are shrinking as a result of exploitation and rapid depletion of natural habitats. EASY TO PLANT AND GROW

These plants take only minutes to introduce to a tank – simply remove them from the pack, wash carefully under a tap, and plant! It’s easy. And unlike many bunch plants, these plants already have established roots, so they will settle quickly into your tanks.

Tall and elegant, Rotala wallichii is a popular red-stemmed plant native to Southeast Asia. In optimal conditions, the inflorescence produces bright purple flowers, while the body of the plant remains intense pink, deep orange or bright red. R. wallichii also works well in small aquariums and makes a good background or midway plant regardless of tank size. Especially in smaller tanks, it can grow to reach the surface of the water in lively, fluffy clumps. Side shoots dominate and are easy to cut. Their stems can be effectively cut and transplanted, and growth can be greatly accelerated by the addition of carbon dioxide. Although R. wallichii is quite hardy, it needs bright light and a balanced food supply to thrive. This plant can be demanding, but with proper care it will prove to be very rewarding..
